Matsuri is the 2nd expansion for Tokaido (Crossroads is the 1st one). The traditional Japanese festivities are now a part of the Tokaido Journey. These Matsuri (the Japanese word for festival), triggered by the arrival of the Travelers at the intermediate Inns, punctuate the path with unique events.

Matsuri includes:

• 20 Matsuri cards
• 20 Journey point tokens (double-sided, values 1 to 4)
• 4 Closed Space tokens
• 5 Doll/Carp tokens (double-sided)
• 16 Traveler tiles
