Tokyo Highway

Finally a 4 player version appears!

In Tokyo Highway, players compete to place all of their cars on the road — but to do that they will first have to build the roadways!

Over the course of the game, players construct columns of varying heights by using the 66 squat cylinders in the box, then connect those columns with sticks that serve as roadways, with the columns not necessarily being the same height when connected. If a stretch of highway is placed well, you can place one or more cars on it to score.

Tokyo Highway 4 player version released by Asmodee at Essen Spiel 2018 (October 25th-28th). In spring last year, we published the expansion set, “Hello! Expansion Package” that contains two extra colors of cars and four building pieces. The 4 players version to be published this year includes all the components necessary for any range of play from 2 to 4 players game of Tokyo Highway.

This game is based on Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway known for its distinctive metropolitan structure. The game has no board, no squares. Players build roadways across each other’ s highway and compete to place all 10 cars under a certain rule. As you follow the simple steps and build your way, there arises a unique architectural space on the table. Build your original highway with the balance of your fingertips and creative construction strategy.
